TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabods women's tennis team fell 7-2 to Central Oklahoma on Saturday at the Washburn Tennis Complex. The Ichabods will face Nebraska-Kearney on Thursday in Topeka.

Washburn (8-10, 3-5 MIAA) were up 2-1 after doubles play as Maggie Plum and Gwen Shepler beat Anna Mikakova and Shali Schoepflin 8-2 at No. 2 doubles and at No. 3 doubles MaKenna Gonzales and Laura Shkembi beat Alix Williams and Emilie Semo 8-5.

However the Bronchos (16-8, 5-4 MIAA) swept the Ichabods in singles play leading to the 7-2 win.
