• The Washburn Ichabod women's tennis team looks to build on its current two-game winning streak returning to MIAA play traveling to face Missouri Western on April 7 before turning home to host Fort Hays State on April 9.
• The Ichabods are 7-6 and 2-2 in the MIAA after beating Illinois Springfield and McPherson both by 8-1 scores.
• The Ichabods lead the all-time series with the Griffons 24-1 after Missouri Western won last season in Topeka 7-2 on March 26.
• The Ichabods lead the all-time series with the Tigers 19-9 and have won the last 17 in a row against Fort Hays State.
• The Tigers' last win over the Ichabods was on Oct. 11, 1984 in a 5-4 win in Hays.

Lance Lysaught is in his second season as the Ichabod women's head coach. He is 22-37 as a women's collegiate head coach in his fourth season and 11-20 at Washburn.

The Ichabods return to the court on April 12 when they will host Rockhurst in a rescheduled match from March 30. Washburn will then face Northeastern State on April 15 and Central Oklahoma the following day in Topeka. The Ichabods will take on Nebraska-Kearney on April 21 and then finish the regular season with hosting Southwest Baptist on April 24.
