Box Score TOPEKA, Kan. -- The No. 19 Washburn men's tennis team won its third consecutive duals match Friday, sweeping Ottawa 9-0.
The Ichabods swept doubles play, with the No. 1 and No. 2 teams beating the Braves 8-5 each, and the No. 3 team of
Bradley Eidenmueller and
Raul-Alin Dicu taking down Ottawa's No. 3 team 8-3.
In singles action, every Ichabod won in straight sets.
Blake Hunter clinched the duals victory for the Ichabods with his 6-0, 6-3 win over Karlo Skvorc, and Brill clinched the sweep with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Mekasha Tadious.
With the win, the Ichabods improve to 3-1 on the season. Their next match will be against McPherson at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 at the Topeka Country Club.
