Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The No. 19 men's tennis team fell in its first match of the spring Friday, losing 3-6 to No. 13 Drury.

After three doubles matches, the Ichabods were down 2-1, with the No. 2 team of Chase Brill and Paul Haase picking up their lone doubles victory. The nation's No. 4 double team of Alejandro Valarezo Plaza and Blake Hunter lost their second doubles match of the year.

Valarezo Plaza rebounded by taking his singles match against Sebastian Amato, while Bradley Eidenmueller won his first duals match as an Ichabod out of the No. 6 slot.

Now at 0-1, the Ichabods will look to pick up their first win of the year against McKendree University Saturday. The match will take place at 1 p.m. in Springfield, Mo.
