Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Washburn women's tennis team ran into a tough No. 12 Drury team Friday, losing 1-8.

Sophomore Jacqueline Engelbrecht was the lone victor for the Ichabods Friday, taking down Josephine Jedrychowski in three sets. Two Ichabods made their duals debut Saturday, as Alexis Czapinski lost her No. 1 doubles match alongside Logan Morrissey, and fell in a tough three-set match against Larissa Karl. Freshman Alysha Nowacki played in her very first matches as an Ichabod Friday, falling in No. 2 doubles and No. 4 singles.

The 0-1 Ichabods will look to take their first victory of the spring against McKendree University at 1 p.m. Saturday in Springfield, Mo.
