Box Score TOPEKA, Kan. – The Washburn women's tennis team will head into the MIAA Championship Tournament with a four-match winning streak after beating William Woods 6-3 Thursday.
The Ichabods swept doubles play and singles matches in slots 1-3 to clinch an early win. 
Alexis Czapinski was the deciding match, winning out of No. 1 singles 6-4, 6-2.
With the win, the Ichabods will finish the regular season 11-7, and will hold the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament. They will take on Northwest Missouri State, the No. 5 seed. When the Ichabods and the Bearcats faced off earlier in the season, the Ichabods came away with a 5-4 victory.
