TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn women's junior varsity team battled against Labette Community College in a game that saw 17 lead changes, but the visiting Lady Cardinals came away with the 76-68 victory. The Ichabods are now 6-4 on the season.
Washburn leaders
- Adyson Narber led the Ichabods with 17 points on 5-12 shooting from the floor. She was 3-5 from behind the arc and 4-6 from the free throw line.
- Teagan Simmons tallied 14 points. She was 3-9 from the floor and 8-10 from the charity stripe.
- Kenya Medlock also hit double-digits with 12 points. She also blocked one shot.
- Jordan Lenherr pulled down a team-best nine rebounds and grabbed three steals. She also chipped in three steals.
- Narbor and Lenherr handed out four assists apiece.
The Ichabods will travel to Parson, Kan., for the final game of the season and take on the St. Mary's junior varsity team. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
