TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn men's JV basketball picked up their first win over Ottawa JV, 106-63, on Tues., Nov. 12. Washburn is now 1-2 this season. The Ichabods had five players score in the double digits.
Washburn Leaders
- Shannon Cordes was the leading scorer for the Ichabods with 20 points and was 9-14 from the floor. Cordes snatched seven rebounds as well.
- Quinton Donohoe had a season high of 19 points. Donohue had five rebounds and one steal for the squad.
- Elijah Keith lead the team in assists with six and added on 10 points for the Ichabods.
- Michael Juneman was 3-5 from the 3PT line and scored 13 points. Juneman snatched five defensive rebounds for the team.
- Chase Dillon had six of the 11 steals the Ichabods totaled.
- The Ichabods out rebounded the Braves 52-32.
Washburn will travel to Baldwin City, Kan. to play Baker University on Thurs., Nov. 14. The game will tip-off at 7 p.m.
