TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn women's JV basketball defeated Fort Scott Community College 73-39 on Wed., Nov. 13. The Ichabods picked up their first win of the season and are now 1-2. Three Ichabods scored in the double digits tonight.
Washburn Leaders
- Rachel Frakes had a career high of 18 points. Frakes snatched nine rebounds for Washburn as well.
- Raegan Wells dominated in the post to score 11 points and collect five rebounds. Wells blocked three shots on defense.
- Morgan Holloway scored 10 points for the Ichabods going 2-2 from the 3PT line.
- Kenya Medlock dished out four assists and scored five points.
- Washburn out rebounded the Greyhounds 53-31.
Washburn will travel to Arkansas City, Kan. on Fri., Nov. 15 to take on the Cowley County Community College Tigers. The game will tip off at 5:30 p.m.
