OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- The Washburn Ichabods fell in a 2-1 game in their only action of the day in a loss to Oklahoma Christian on the second day of the Edmond Regional Festival. Washburn's first game of day against Texas Woman's was canceled because of cold weather.

Oklahoma Christian scored in the bottom of the second and the Ichabods came back to tie the game in the top of the third when Savannah Moore drove in Samantha Stallbaumer who singled to lead off the inning.

The Eagles broke the deadlock taking advantage of an Ichabod error in the bottom of the fifth scoring an unearned run to go up 2-1.

Washburn outhit the Eagles 8 to 5, but left nine on base compared to four for OC.

Stallbaumer and Moore each had two hits in the game. Raegen Hamm tossed six innings scattering five hits with a strikeout.

Weather permitting, the Ichabods will return for two more games on Monday to wrap up the festival starting at 10 a.m.
