EDMOND, Okla. -- The Washburn women's tennis team came up short against the No. 6-ranked Saint Leo Lions in the ITA Indoor Championships semifinal consolation match on Saturday morning, 4-0.
 
The Lions clinched the doubles point with a pair of 6-1 victories on courts one and two.
 
Saint Leo went on to clinch the match with wins at the top-three spots in the singles lineup. 
Cadence Lynn and 
Kinsey Fields won their first set at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively, but the matches went unfinished once the Lions clinched.
 
Washburn will close out its time at the inaugural ITA Indoor Championships tomorrow (March 1) in the seventh place match at 8 a.m.
