TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn men's tennis squad posted their third-straight victory with a 7-0 sweep over Tabor College on Friday afternoon. The Ichabods improve to 3-2 while Tabor drops to 1-7.

Washburn swept the doubles competition to take a quick 1-0 lead. The duos of Chase Brill/Miller Zeiders and Luke Howard/Miquel Perez both shut out their opponents, 6-0. Raul-Alin Dicu and Bradley Eidenmueller won at court No. 1 by the score of 6-2.

All six singles matches were won in straight-sets. Perez got things started by shutting out his opponent at No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Eidenmueller picked up a 6-0, 6-1 decision at the No. 2 spot while Brill won his No. 4 match, 6-0, 6-2. Dicu got the win at the top of the order, 6-1, 6-4. Zeiders (6-0, 6-2) and Howard (6-0, 6-0) rounded out the scoring for Washburn on courts five and six, respectively.

Washburn will play the next four matches on the road starting with Harding next Friday, March 13. First serve is set for 10 a.m.
