Box Score WICHITA FALLS, Tex. – The Ichabods held a 3-0 lead before losing to Southeastern Oklahoma State, 4-3. The women's team has lost two straight matches, falling to 4-3 on the season.
The Ichabods dominated doubles play with two quick wins to grab the 1-0 lead. At No. 3 doubles, 
Svea Crohn and 
Marta Torres wasted no time in defeating their opponents, 6-0. 
Isabella Martensson and 
Lara Schmid finished right behind them with a 6-1 doubles win. Schmid and Martensson are 4-1 as doubles partners.
Kinsey Fields and 
Maja Jung did not finish their match but were leading 4-2 before the match was stopped.
Jung put the Ichabods up 2-0 with her 6-1, 6-2 victory from fourth in the lineup. It was Jung's first time playing No. 4 singles. Torres extended the Ichabods' lead to 3-0 at No. 1 singles. She battled for a 7-5 set one victory, then rolled through her opponent 6-0 in the second set.
Southeastern Oklahoma State came back, winning the final four singles matches to take the win away from the Ichabods. Lynn was the first to fall with scores of 6-2, 6-3. Martensson and Schmid lost close first sets leading to tough second-set losses.
Crohn forced her match into a third set to give the Ichabods one last chance. Unfortunately, she dropped the set 6-3.
Washburn women head to No. 22 Midwestern State on Saturday at 10 a.m.
