TOPEKA, Kan. – The Washburn baseball team held No. 4-ranked Central Missouri to four hits while the Ichabod offense erupted and went on to end the Mules' 19-game winning streak and hand them their first conference loss in run-rule fashion with a 15-4 triumph on Saturday afternoon. The series rubber match game will be Sunday at 1 p.m.

With runners on first and second and two out, Clark-Chiapparelli worked a seven pitch walk to load up the bases for Dunn, who was hit by the pitch to bring to double Washburn's advantage at 8-4. An error by UCM's short stop allowed two runs to score and after being down in the count 1-2,
Zion Bowlin was walked to load up the bases again. The batting order came back around to Scott and he poked a hit over the second baseman's head to plate two more runs and make it a 12-4 contest.
