BOLIVAR, Mo. – The Ichabods' win-streak came to an end with a 4-3 lost to No. 48 Harding on Sunday afternoon.

In doubles competition, Svea Crohn and Marta Torres continued to roll at No. 3 doubles. The duo earned their 10th consecutive win with a dominant 6-1 victory over Emily Carpenter and Allison Jenkins. Washburn (8-9) earned the doubles point when Isabella Martensson and Lara Schmid defeated No. 41 Allison Carpenter and Grace Dodd, 6-4.

Kinsey Fields and Maja Jung were down 6-5 at No. 2 doubles before the match went unfinished.

Harding (13-4) struck first in singles play, topping Martensson, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 4 singles. Jung put the Ichabods back in front in a 6-2, 6-2 victory in the second position. The Bisons tied the match at 2-2 with a couple of straight-set victories. Torres fell 7-5, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, and Crohn lost 7-5, 6-3 at No. 3 singles.

The Ichabods led again when Schmid defeated Lindy Carpenter, 6-3, 6-1, from No. 4 singles. In the deciding match, Cadence Lynn dropped the first set 6-3. She fought hard in the second set to keep the Icahbods alive but lost in a second-set tiebreaker, 7-6 (7-2).

The Ichabods have a conference match at Northwest Missouri State on Saturday, April 9, starting at 1 p.m.
