TOPEKA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod women's tennis team wrapped up its fall season at the Washburn Invitational this weekend at Kossover Tennis Center.
 
Renske Ubachs defeated Narindra Ranaivo from Nebraska-Kearney 7-6 (6), 6-1 to win the Blue Draw Singles Consolation finals.
 
Washburn's Maja Jung fell in the Blue Draw finals match in a 7-6 (3), 6-2 loss to Eleanor Coleman from Rockhurst.
 
Winning their singles consolation matches on Sunday were Cadence Lynn, Lara Schmid and Martine Carroll.
 
Taking the Blue Draw Doubles title was finals were Lara Schmid and Maja Jung who defeated UNK's Melisa Becerra and Narindra Ranaivo 6-3. The Ichabod duo of Cady Lynn and Peyton Koper defeatd Nebraska-Kearney's  Alexis Bernthal and Fabiana Gamboa 7-5.
 
In the Red Draw Doubles, Issabella Pensavalle and Martine Carroll defeated Daniela Lentisco and Maria Alejandra Baez Chacon from Rockhurst  8-4 in the semifinals, but fell to Mariya Hatouka and Jazmin Zamorano from UNK 9-7 in the finals.
