TOPEKA, KAN. - The Washburn Soccer team tied Rogers State 1-1 in Sunday afternoon's match.
Washburn(8-2-3, MIAA 5-0-2 & Rogers State(1-5-6, MIAA 1-3-3) shared the points with a point each.
FIRST HALF
The first half was scoreless. Washburn had a goal ruled out due to a foul on the goalkeeper. Washburn recorded 12 shots in the half, with a shot of the post and 2 others on goal.
SECOND HALF
Rogers State started the half with a goal in the 47th minute after a free kick that bounced around and eventually found the net. Washburn would have control of the ball, trying to find an equaliser. In the 80th minute, the Ichabods would score from a corner by way of
Shaye Taylor.
