JOPLIN, MO. - The Washburn Women's Soccer team travels to southwest Missouri to take on the Lions of Missouri Southern.
The Ichabods are unbeaten in their last five matches, including 4 wins and a tie. Washburn has started 2-0-1 in conference play. Additionally, on this unbeaten run, they have kept a clean sheet in each of them.
Freshman
Leah Henke starred again last Friday night, where she assisted on the opening goal, and then scored in the 2nd half to really put the game to bed. She is tied for 3rd in the conference for goals scored.
Lili Everley is 3rd in the conference in shutouts with 4 on the season. She is a two-time MIAA Goalkeeper of the Week.
Washburn has outshot their opponents 121 to 63, and on goal 53-30.
The Ichabods have taken 53 corners and only allowed 19 corners.

The Lions are 2-5-3 so far this season and 0-2-2 in the MIAA. Missouri Southern has wins over Rockhurst & Paul Quinn. In conference play, they have lost to Northeastern State & Rogers State, while tying Fort Hays State & Nebraska-Kearney.
