MANKATO, MINN. - The Washburn Ichabod Soccer Team stays in Mankato to take on the hosts and No. 1 seed Minnesota State Sunday, with kickoff slated for 1 PM CT.
The Ichabods (12-3-5) are heading into the NCAA Second Round matchup with the Mavericks of Minnesota State (18-1-3).
Washburn is coming off a First Round 2-0 win over 5th 5th-seeded Missouri Western.
The Ichabod defense recorded their 12th clean sheet of the year and freshman goalkeeper
Lili Everley made eight saves in the match, most in a game of her freshman campaign.

Shaye Taylor played 90 minutes as they are 1-2 in minutes played for the Ichabods this season.
Freshman
Leah Henke scored her 10th goal of the season and also assisted in Friday's win.
Sophomore
Sam Searcey has piled up 9 goal contributions on the season with 5 goals and 4 assists.
Kate Hinck scored the opener on Friday, her 6th of the year, and played 90 minutes.
ABOUT MINNESOTA STATE
The Mavericks are coming into the match with a 5-match unbeaten streak, and a 2-0 win over 8-seeded Harding. Both teams have beaten the Bison 2-0 this season. Minnesota State also won the NSIC Regular Season title & Conference Tournament title as well. They have three players tied for the team lead in goals with 5.
