KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches announced that Washburn's Soccer coaching staff was named the DII Women's Central Region Staff of the Year.

For the second time, the Ichabod coaching staff has been named the NCAA Division II Women's Central Region Staff of the Year after guiding Washburn Soccer to a 14-4-6 overall record, going undefeated in MIAA play, capturing the NCAA Central Region Championship, and advancing to the NCAA Final Four.

The award-winning staff is led by Head Coach Davy Phillips and assisted by Jessica Hillebert and Walker Farrar.

The staff also had multiple athletes win awards this season, including Belle Kennedy being named MIAA Defensive Player of the Year, a First Team All-American, and a Third Team All-American by respective award associations. Leah Henke earned MIAA Freshman of the Year honors, while the Ichabods also collected 10 All-MIAA selections and three Central Region Team selections.
