TOPEKA, KAN. - The Washburn Ichabod Soccer Team has its home opener Sunday as it hosts UMary.
"We are so excited to be at home in Yager Stadium vs the University of Mary. I want to see us continue to grow in this non-conference schedule as we strive to become, collectively, the best we can be," said Head Coach
Davy Phillips. "I enjoy playing against opponents that we don't play every year and the challenges that come with learning a new opponent, a new coach, a new style, and everything that encompasses. Mary will be a really good test for us!"
Washburn is coming off its first win of the season as it won 3-1 on the road in Springfield against Drury.
