9/18/2025 2:30:00 PM

TOPEKA, KAN. - Washburn Soccer hosts Harding Friday evening at Yager Stadium with kick off set for 6 PM.

"This provides another great environment for us to continue to grow in pursuit of finding consistency in our performances," said Ichabod Head Coach Davy Phillips. "I really like how our team is so resilient and committed to learning and growing after each of our setbacks so far in this young season."

The team lost its home opener last Sunday afternoon to UMary 4-0. The Marauders scored two quick goals, which set the tone for the match.

The Ichabods are led in scoring by Freshman winger Leah Henke, who has 3 goals on the year, two of which were assisted by Senior Belle Kennedy

Washburn averages around 11 shots a game and allows, on average, 9 shots a game. They have 21 of their 45 shots on goal, while opponents are 17-37 on the season.
