KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Washburn sophomore pole vaulter
Adam Wooldridge has been named the MIAA's Student-Athlete of the Week after his win at the Sneed Indoor Athletic Facility last week in Topeka.
Wooldridge captured first place at the Washburn Rust Buster by clearing 5.10 meters (16-8.75), a mark would rank No. 7 on the season chart this season. Wooldridge already has the third-best mark of the indoor season at 5.20m (17-00.75) he gained at the Crimson and Gold Invitational at Pittsburg State in the season's first action on Dec. 5.
The Ichabod track team returns to action this Friday at the Rumble in the Jungle Invitational at Pittsburg State.
