INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Washburn Ichabods moved into the top 10 of the Super Region 4 NPI rankings this week after beating Fort Hays State yesterday. Washburn sits 10th in the latest regional rankings announced on Sunday.

Washburn (5-2-1, 4-2 MIAA) is one of four MIAA squads in the rankings this week, joining Emporia State (2nd), Northwest Missouri (6th) and Central Missouri (8th).

The NPI rankings will determine playoff selection. The top eight teams will earn selection into the 2026 NCAA Div. II Playoffs. Conference champions from the MIAA, GAC, Lone Star and RMAC will receive automatic bids. The final four slots will be determined by the NPI. Washburn will host Missouri Western on Homecoming on Oct. 31 at 2 p.m. in Yager Stadium. #GoBods
