TEMPE, Ariz. -- Both Washburn tennis teams rank inside the top-10 of the latest ITA poll released on Wednesday morning by the organization. The Ichabod men stay at No. 4 in the nation while the women move up two spots to be ranked No. 9.  

Washburn is one of six schools to have both teams ranked inside the top-10 in the nation by the ITA.  

The Ichabod women move up two spots for a second week in a row entering the top-10 after defeating previously No. 8 ranked Midwestern State 4-2 at home on Feb. 22. Barry claims the top spot in the women's poll followed by West Florida and West Alabama. No other MIAA teams rank inside the top-25.  

The Washburn men remain at No. 4 for a second straight week after defeating No. 18 Midwestern State 4-0 last week. Barry also takes the top spot in the men's poll followed by West Florida and Flagler. Around the MIAA/GAC only Harding at No. 25 are ranked.  

Both Ichabod teams return to the court for an exhibition match on Friday, Feb. 27 against Pratt CC. They will go outside for the first time at the newly named Castillo Family Tennis Complex.
