Washburn enters postseason play with a 21-7 overall record and 14-5 mark in MIAA play while riding a six-game winning streak. They have a 20-6 record inside the central region as well, one of five teams ranked with 20 victories in the region.
Minnesota State controls the top spot in the region for a second straight week, followed by Fort Hays State and Concordia-St. Paul respectively. Three teams from the MIAA are included, with Central Missouri at No. 5 joining the Ichabods and Tigers.
Washburn is back in action as the No. 3 seed in the MIAA Tournament taking on the No. 6 seed Pittsburg State at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, March 6 inside Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
