TOPEKA, Kan. – Washburn Ichabod softball head coach
Brenda Holaday has announced the signing of Topeka native and soon-to-be Seaman High School graduate Aubrey Warren to play for the Ichabods starting in the 2026-27 academic year.
"We are excited to add Aubrey to our 2026 class," Holaday said. "She is an impressive young lady who has been a leader in her program and recognized as the best in her conference. We are always excited to add local talent, especially someone with her work ethic, strong character and natural leadership qualities."

As a junior she was the UKC Player of the Year earning first-team all-Shawnee County and UKC leading Shawnee County in home runs with 11 … a Sports In Kansas first-team all-state selection batting .402 with 43 hits and 35 RBI with a .431 OBP helping the Vikings to a 20-9 record … as a sophomore she was a UKC honorable mention all-league selection after recording 50 hits with a .463 batting average and 32 RBI … appeared in 10 games on varsity as a freshman … a National Honor Society member and a member of the 4.0 GPA honor roll all four years … daughter of Jacob and Melinda Warren … anticipated major is nursing.
