CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Washburn Ichabod athletic teams remained 15th in the winter standings update of the Learfield Directors' Cup Standings two-thirds through the academic year. The Ichabods tallied 145 total points with the winter sports moving its season total to 330 points.
Both the Ichabod men's and women's basketball teams each recorded 25 points and the Ichabod men's track and field team recorded 52 points and the Ichabod women's track and field team scored 43 points. The Ichabod men's track and field team finished 21st at the NCAA Indoor Championships and the women's squad placed 29th.
The Ichabods recorded their highest finish in the Learfield Directors' Cup Standings last year by finishing 15th overall and was the second-highest MIAA school in the final standings.
