CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Washburn Ichabod athletic department recorded its highest finish in program history in the final standings of the Learfield Directors' Cup Standings finishing ninth overall after improving from a 15th-place finishes the last year. The Ichabods tallied 341 total points in the spring season tallying 671 total points for the academic season putting the Ichabods in second between the MIAA schools.

In the spring, the women's golf team reached the NCAA regional scoring 47 total. points. The men's golf squad reached the NCAA National Championships scoring 61.5 points. On the tennis court, the men's tennis scored 73 points with a national quarterfinals finish and the women's team scored with 64 reaching the sweet 16. The men's track and field team finished 21st at the NCAA Outdoor Championships to score 52 points and the women's team scored 43.5 points finishing 30th.
