GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Washburn men's golf team sits in sixth place after the first two rounds at the Regional Preview on Monday.

Wayne State leads the tournament at 7-over par through the first two rounds.

Washburn is 18-over through 36 holes after shooting 3-over in the first round and 15-over in the second round.

Myles Tarvin leads all Washburn golfers at 3-under and is tied for second place. Tarvin birdied holes 1-4 in his second round of the day.

Henry Thompson is right behind Tarvin at 2-under and is tied for fourth place. Thompson eagled hole four in both rounds and also had a hole-in-one on hole 13 in his second round.

Jacob Fratzel is tied for 74th at 12-over. Brody Scafe is tied for 82nd at 13-over, while Jake Kolich and Blake Buessing are tied for 89th at 14-over.

The Ichabods will finish the Regional Preview Tuesday morning, starting at 8:00 a.m.
