Joplin Mo. – The Washburn women's golf team sits in first place after the first round at the Missouri Southern Fall Invite on Monday.
Washburn is 1-under par as a team and is 10 strokes ahead of second place Arkansas Tech at 9-over.
Keira Ronsick and
Raegan Petersen are tied for first place overall after rounds of 2-under in the first round.
Susana Granados Carrion shot an even par and sits alone in fourth place for the tournament.
Aliyah North is tied for sixth at 3-over and
Amy Fusedale is tied for 34
th at 10-over.
Kat Ball rounded out the scoring for Washburn at 9-over as an individual.
The Ichabods will finish the MSSU Invite on Tuesday morning, starting at 8:30 a.m.
