GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Washburn men's golf team placed fourth for the second consecutive week at the Regional Preview on Tuesday.
The host team, Grand Valley State won the team title at 10-over, including an even par third and final round.
Washburn finished 24-over for the tournament and shot 6-over in their final round.
Myles Tarvin finished tied for third at 1-under and shot a 2-over 73 in his final round.
Henry Thompson placed in a tie for 11
th and shot a 5-over 76 on Tuesday.
Blake Buessing and Brody Scafe finished tied for 54th at 13-over. Buessing had a team-high score of a 1-under 70 on Tuesday. Scafe also contributed an even par score of 71.
Jacob Fratzel tied for 73rd at 17-over and Jake Kolich, as an individual tied for 79th at 18-over.
