Joplin Mo. – The Washburn women's golf team won its first outright tournament title in program history at the Missouri Southern Fall Invite on Tuesday.
Washburn won the tournament title at 12-over par as a team and finished 16 strokes ahead of second place Arkansas Tech at 28-over.
Susana Granados Carrion finished second overall, with a score of 1-over in her second and final round of the tournament.
Keira Ronsick tied for third placed at 2-over and shot a 4-over 76 on Tuesday.
Aliyah North notched her first career top five finish at 4-over and shot a 1-over 73 on Tuesday.
Raegan Petersen finished tied for sixth at 5-over, shooting a 7-over 79 for her final round.
Kat Ball, competing as an individual, tied for 22
nd place at 16-over par.
Amy Fusedale placed 28
th overall, finishing her Tuesday round with an 8-over 80.
