TOPEKA, Kan – The Washburn women's soccer team defeated Drury 3-0 in a non-conference home game on Wednesday night at Yager Stadium.
FIRST HALF
Drury's lone shot on goal in the first half came in the 18
th minute by Kadence Krempges, but Washburn goalkeeper
Lili Everley made the save.
Avery McCorry nearly gave the Ichabods the lead in the 29
th minute, but her shot hit the bottom-right of the crossbar. Despite recording eight shots in the first half, the Ichabods were unable to break the scoreless tie.
SECOND HALF
The Ichabods wasted no time in the second half when
Chloe Kolm found
Leah Henke for a goal in the 52
nd minute. Three minutes later, Washburn added another goal when a
Mackinly Rohn corner kick resulted in an own goal.
Just 19 seconds later, on the ensuing kickoff,
Brynn Allison found Henke for her second goal of the night.
Drury recorded three more shots over the remainder of the match but was unable to score.

- The Panthers received three yellow cards to the Ichabods zero in the match.
