LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Washburn Ichabod volleyball fell down two spots in the latest AVCA national poll released Monday afternoon and now rank No. 15 across DII.  

Washburn went 1-1 last week in the first two MIAA matches of the season, moving its season record to 11-3. The Ichabods fell from No. 13 last week to a No. 15 ranking this week with 522 total points.  

Ferris State leads the rankings once again with 45 first-place votes followed by Wayne State with one vote. Fresno Pacific slots in at No. 4 and received the final first-place nod. Around the conference Nebraska Kearney is ranked No. 7 in the nation followed by Missouri Western just behind at No. 8. Emporia State is close behind Washburn at No. 17 while Central Oklahoma and Central Missouri are receiving votes.  

The Ichabods are on the road for the first time in conference play on Tuesday evening taking on Northwest Missouri State at 6 p.m.
