ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Washburn men's golf team finished in third place at the Missouri Western Holiday Inn Express Classic on Tuesday.
The Ichabods shot a round of 282 (+2) as a team which was the second-best score in the third round. Washburn finished the MWSU Classic at 9-over across three rounds.Â
Central Missouri won the tournament with a total score of even par.Â
Myles Tarvin notched a top five finish, with a final score of even par across three rounds, including a 67 (-3) on Tuesday.
Henry Thompson finished tied for 19th at 5-over and shot an even par on Tuesday. Â
Max Farber and Jacob Fratzel tied for 43rd at 8-over. Farber shot a 73 (+3) and Fratzel had a 78 (+8) in their final rounds.Â
Maddix Shook tied for 47th and had a round of 72 (+2) to finish out the tournament.
Blake Buessing as an individual, tied for 53rd and shot a 77 (+7) on Tuesday.
