WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Washburn men's golf team sits in fourth place after the first two rounds at The Mule Invitational on Tuesday.
Central Oklahoma leads the tournament at 18-under through the first two rounds.
Washburn is 11-over through 36 holes after shooting 9-over in the first round and 2-over in round two.
Jacob Fratzel leads all Washburn golfers at 2-over and is tied for 22nd place. Fratzel birdied five out eight holes on the back nine in his second round for a score of 30.
Myles Tarvin, Henry Thompson, and
Blake Buessing are all right behind Fratzel at 3-over and are tied for 25th.
Playing as an individual,
Max Farber shot three-over and four-over for a total of +7 for the day, leaving him tied for 51st.
Jake Kolich rounded out the scoring at 13-over and is tied for 80th.
The Ichabods will finish The Mule Invitational Wednesday morning starting at 8:30 a.m.
