Will return to designated player position as well as back up at first base entering sophomore season … recorded a .405 slugging percentage and a .336 on base percentage in first season as a member of the Lady Blues.

As a Freshman in 2007
Recorded 33 hits batting .284 driving in 13 runs while starting 40 games at designated player and three at first base … had two game-winning hits - the first a grand slam against Ottawa on March 7 and an RBI single against Truman in the top of the sixth in a 4-3 win over the Bulldogs … also recorded five doubles and seven runs scored finishing with three home runs.

Background
A first team all-league pick as a sophomore and a second team all-league selection as a junior … a first team all-metro pick as a senior … also played volleyball and basketball … played in the Kansas/Missouri all-star game … a member of the National Honor Society and Principal’s Honor Roll.
