As a Junior in 2007
• Played in 46 games with 44 starts. He made 40 starts at leftfield, three starts as a right fielder and one start as the designated hitter.
• He hit .284 with 42 hits, seven doubles, two home runs and 28 RBI.
• He drove in a season-high four RBI twice. On 04/18/07 against Fort Hays State he went 3 for 5 and drove in four off a two-run double and two-run single. At Southwest Baptist on 05/05/07 he was 2 for 4 with his first career grand slam.
• On 03/14/07 he was 2 for 4 and scored a season-high three runs.
• In the game on 04/18/07 against FHSU he threw out the tying run at home plate to end the game and secure a win for Washburn.
• He finished with a .914 fielding percentage with six errors in 70 chances in the outfield.

Fort Scott CC (2005-06)
• Played two years at Fort Scott CC as an outfielder.

Gardner-Edgerton HS
A 2004 graduate of Gardner-Edgerton High School where he was named all-conference as an outfielder his senior season.
• Holds the school record for single-season batting average at .552.
• Named the team defensive player of the year his junior year and offensive player of the year his senior year.
