As a Junior in 2007
• Pitched in 10 games and started his final nine appearances.
• He went 2-3 with a 5.33 ERA and 40 strikeouts. He will be the leading returning starting pitcher in terms of ERA and strikeouts.
• He finished ninth in the MIAA with 6.67 strikeouts per game and he set a season high with eight strikeouts on 04/28/07 in seven innings against Emporia State. The seven innings was also a season-high outing and he was seventh in the MIAA averaging 5.40 innings per appearance.
• He won his first game of the year on 03/13/07 against Upper Iowa as he went five innings with four strikeouts as he gave up three runs.

Cloud County CC (2005-06)
• Played two years at Cloud County CC and was named to the honorable mention all-conference team as a pitcher his freshman year.

Centralia High School
• Pitched four years at Centralia High School with a 28-2 record, 303 strikeouts, 39 walks, 22 earned runs and three saves.
• Earned first team all-state honors as a guard in basketball.
