Allen County Community College (2006-07)
• He played two years in the infield  at Allen County Community College.
• His sophomore year he batted .385 with four home runs and 35 RBI while playing shortstop and earning an All-Star selection.
• His freshman year he batted .333 and played third base.

Seaman High School
• A 2005 graduate of Seaman High School where he played third base and shortstop for the Chargers.
• His senior year he batted .420 and earned all-state first team honors, as well as all-league and all-city.
• He also earned first team all-state and all-class all-state honors his junior year as his team won the state championship. He batted .440 that year with 35 RBI.
• During his sophomore year he batted .408 and earned second team all-Centennial League and all-city honors.
