At Washburn: Has played in 34 games making 11 starts entering his senior season … tied for 20th on Washburn’s all-time touchdown reception chart with six … has 23 receptions for 340 yards averaging 14.8 yards per catch.
In 2009: Averaged 16.8 yards per catch recording 10 receptions for 168 yards and two touchdowns including a 41-yard reception against Missouri Southern … also had two kickoff returns for 23 yards … played in all 11 games.
In 2008: Made 11 starts at tight end recording 94 yards receiving on 10 catches with four touchdowns … had a season-high 22 yards receiving on one catch against Truman … named the Ichabods’ offensive lineman of the week following the Missouri Southern game.
In 2007: Played in all 12 games grabbing three receptions for 78 yards including a career-long 48-yard catch against Southwest Baptist … also had kickoff returns for 16 yards including an 11-yard run back against Missouri Western … picked up the Ichabods’ Big Hit award against Truman.
In 2006: Sat out the season as a redshirt … was named work team defensive player of the week following the Fort Hays State game.
Background: Was an honorable mention all-league pick at fullback as a freshman and as a senior after earning all-league honors as a sophomore.
Personal: Born Dec. 27, 1987 … son of Tammy and the late Troy Knox … majoring in business … younger brother Devin is a sophomore for the Ichabods this season … older sister Autumn played volleyball at Bethel.
