Background: Averaged 21.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game as a sophomore at Tallahassee Community College in four games during the 2007-08 season before suffering season-ending knee injury … as a freshman, she averaged 15.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per game … she was a first-team All-Panhandle Conference selection and a two-time FCCAA Player of the Week and earned NJCAA Player of the Week honors once … she recorded the first triple-double in TCC history with an 11 point, 14 rebound, 12 assist performance against North Florida … at Dillard High School, she was a McDonald's American, WBCA All-American, EA Sports All-American, a second team Parade Magazine All-American and a third team USA Today All-American … she led Dillard to back-to-back class 5A state championships and was named the state tournament's most valuable player both seasons … named the Class 5A player of the year finishing fourth in voting for Ms. Basketball in Florida … a first team all-state selection in 2004 and 2005 and was a class 6A all-state pick in 2003 … rated the No. 7 prospect in the nation coming out of high school by the all-star Girls Basketball report and No. 16 by Blue Star recruiting … invited to the US Junior National Team trials in 2004 and participated in the USA Basketball Youth Development Festival that same season.
