As a Junior in 2008
• He appeared in 11 games as a relief pitcher and had an 0-3 record with one save.
• In his first four appearances he allowed just two earned runs off three hits through 6 2/3 innings.
• He recorded his save on 03/14 in an 8-4 win against Southwest Baptist. He came into the game with two outs in the seventh and the runner at second base was caught stealing before he officially faced a batter.
• He struck out seven and walked eight in 18 1/3 innings of work.

Labette Community College (2006-07)
• Pitched for two seasons at Labette Community College.

Ottawa High School
• A 2004 graduate of Ottawa High School where he was a three-sport athlete, playing baseball, soccer and basketball.
• He earned first team all-league honors as a pitcher and helped his team earn a spot in the state tournament his final two years.
