Redshirt in 2008

Westminster College
• Played two years at Westminster College in Fulton, Mo., as a catcher and first baseman for the Bluejays.

DeSoto High School
• A 2005 graduate of DeSoto High School where he lettered in baseball for four years and football for three years.
• He earned honorable mention all-conference as a catcher his junior and senior year.
• He played offensive line and linebacker on the football team and earned first team all-conference his senior year and second team all-conference his junior year, both at linebacker.
