Background: A transfer from  Kansas where he picked up 20 yards on seven carries seeing limited time at running back playing in four games as a redshirt freshman … sat out the 2006 season as a redshirt for the Jayhawks … in high school at North Garland, he was an all-district first team selection as a senior and a second team all-district pick in 2003 … ranked in the top 100 recruits in Texas by Rivals.com … was named the team’s MVP as a sophomore … also lettered in baseball and track … a regional track qualifier in 2003 and 2004 … traveled to Cuba as a member of the Junior Olympic baseball team.

Personal: Born Sept. 20, 1987 … son of Cheryl and Charles Bean … younger brother of former Ichabod Brandon Walker … majoring in computer information technology.
