Biography

As a Junior in 2009
Started 34 games at catcher and the designated player while recording 16 hits and 11 RBI with four runs scored, two doubles and a home run … drove in a career-high three runs with two hits and a home run against St. Edward’s.

As a Sophomore in 2008

Made 11 starts at catcher and seven at designated player recording seven hits with three runs scored … hit her first Washburn home run against Concordia-St. Paul on March 21 … had a career-high five at bats against Southwest Baptist on April 26 … picked up two assists against Bethany on March 11.

Background

At Cowley County, named second team all-region VI and first team Eastern Division all-Jayhawk Conference as a freshman after batting .365 with 10 doubles, three home runs, 26 runs scored and 27 RBI … started 39 of 45 games at catcher throwing out four would-be base-stealers … named first team all-city, all-league and all-state as a senior … first team all-league as a sophomore and junior … named team’s MVP as a senior … a four-year member of the honor roll.
