A 2006 graduate of St. Marys High School where he lettered in baseball all four seasons for the Bears ... he earned first team all-state his senior year as a catcher ... was all-league his final two seasons ... also played football for four years as a running back and basketball for three years as a point guard ... was named honorable mention all-state as a senior in football and all-league as a guard in basketball.
