A 2007 graduate of Salina Central High School where he pitched and played shortstop for the Mustangs...was a three-year starter and holds the single-season record for home runs, ERA, strikeouts, RBI and batting average...earned first team all-league honors and honorable mention all-state his senior year as a utility player...he also was a two-year starter on the football team where he played cornerback and earned first team all-state and all-state academically.
