Sat out the season after having elbow surgery following the completion of the football season.
As a Sophomore in 2008
Went 1-1 with a 7.04 ERA in six appearances and three starts...allowed 17 hits and 12 earned runs in 15.1 innings of work.
As a Freshman in 2007
Made three starts and had five relief appearances...went 1-1 with an 8.84 ERA...pitched one scoreless inning against Western Illinois in his first career appearance...made his first career start on April 3 against Nebraska-Omaha...earned his first collegiate win on May 1 against Northwest Missouri when he pitched five innings and gave up two runs on six hits and three walks.
